Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our school management system ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable subscription or service agreements. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility

This Platform is designed for registered schools, educational institutions, and their authorized personnel (administrators, staff, students, and parents). You must be at least 18 years old to create an administrator account.

Account Registration

Schools and users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and restricting access to authorized users. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

License & Usage

We grant your institution a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with your subscription plan. You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the system.
• Use the platform for purposes outside educational or school management contexts.

Subscription Plans & Pricing

Our services are offered under three main plans: Basic, Standard, and Premium.

• Basic: Flat-term pricing without student logins.
• Standard: Includes student and parent portals, online payments, and more.
• Premium: Adds AI features, predictive analytics, a custom website, and priority support.

Subscription fees are billed per academic term. Additional charges may apply for extra features, SMS credits, or student volume exceeding plan limits.

Payment & Renewal

Payments are made per term and must be completed before the next term begins. Failure to renew within 14 days of a new term may result in restricted access. Your data will be securely retained for up to 60 days after account expiration.

Discounts & Bundles

Discounts may be applied based on the number of enrolled students or if your school operates multiple systems. Contact our support team for customized billing.

AI Tools & Data Handling

The Premium Plan includes access to AI-powered tools such as:

• Performance analytics & Smart Auto-Grading System
• Predictive grading insights & Text-to-Speech
• Multilingual Translation & Book Summarizer
• Chat Assistant for Support & Learning

AI output is automated and should be used in conjunction with human review. All data processed is handled securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

System Updates & Feature Requests

We periodically release new features automatically to all users. Feature requests are considered for Premium subscribers only. Some features may be available as paid add-ons.

Custom Websites & Branding

Custom school websites (with your school name, logo, and colors) are available from the Standard Plan. Premium Plan schools receive full customization and branding tools.

Cancellations & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at the end of any academic term.
• Cancellations must be submitted at least 7 days before the start of a new term to avoid auto-renewal.
• No refunds are issued for partially used terms.
• We retain your data for 60 days after cancellation for easy reactivation.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if:

• You breach any part of these Terms
• Payment is not received after the grace period
• Unauthorized access or misuse is detected

Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data caused by user error
• Downtime due to external factors (e.g., internet outage)
• Financial loss due to improper use of features

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the current term.

Intellectual Property

All software, designs, logos, and content on the Platform are the intellectual property of Lunox SMS as powered by Folklight Studios and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates signifies your acceptance. Users will be notified via dashboard or email when significant changes are made.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
